Analytical Versus Constructive Editing (12:15)
This one's an eye opener. Analytical editing is the typical western style of editing. Begin your sequence with wider shots of the environment within which the action will take place. Follow this by closer shots. Constructive editing is starting your sequence with close shots, then expanding to wider shots. Sometimes wider shots are omitted altogether. Worth the watch!

Editing Tips for Action including frame dropping as used in Mad Max Fury Road (1:03)
The first tip of this video will blow you away. You basically remove 2 frames out of a shot with action. I tried it. It works! The jury is still out on the other techniques. (Never film a sequence with moving vehicles. Leave that to production studios with millions of dollars taken out in liability insurance.)
